January 26, 2005 – IS YOUR TRUMPET MAKING A CLEAR SOUND?

1 Corinthians 14:8  Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle?

MY CHILDREN, IF YOU KNEW, IN TRUTH, THAT TERRIBLE JUDGMENT IS COMING FOR THOSE YOU LOVE, WOULD YOU NOT WARN THEM WITH A LOUD CLEAR VOICE? WOULD YOU NOT SEND WARNING TO THOSE UPON WHOM THE JUDGMENT WILL FALL?  ~Unbelief and Its Consequences  Romans 1:18  The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,  19  since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.  20  For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

IT IS ONE THING FOR THE UNBELIEVING AND GODLESS TO REJECT MY CALL TO RIGHTEOUSNESS, BUT MANY WHO KNOW ME AND ARE MINE HAVE WALKED THEIR OWN WAY IN THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS.  THE WORLD’S CULTURE SAYS “EVERYONE DOES IT THIS WAY….ANYTHING GOES AND YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU FEEL LIKE DOING.  YOU CAN LIVE BY YOUR OWN DESIRES AND DO IT YOUR OWN WAY!”  MY CHILDREN, WHO ARE A PART OF MY KINGDOM ON EARTH, MUST LIVE ACCORDING TO MY LAWS.  YOU CANNOT BE A LAW UNTO YOURSELF.  WHEN YOU STAND BEFORE ME YOU CANNOT PLEAD “INNOCENT.” Timothy 2:19  Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”  20  In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble.  21  If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.  22  Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.  23  Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.  24  And the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.  25  Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth,  26  and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

YES, I KNOW THOSE WHO ARE MINE, AND I AM SENDING THEM FORTH TO WARN THE VESSELS OF WOOD AND CLAY AND THE UNBELIEVERS TO “COME UP HIGHER, THAT YOU MAY ESCAPE JUDGMENT.”  THIS IS THE CALL OF MY CHILDREN: Psalm 61:2  “From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.  3  For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe.  4  I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah  5  For you have heard my vows, O God; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.”

IT IS TO YOUR SHAME THAT THERE ARE VESSELS THAT DO NOT FEAR MY NAME AND SO THEY LIVE THEIR LIVES AS CITIZENS OF THE WORLD RULED BY SATAN.  YOU DO NOT FEAR MY DECREES AGAINST LIVING IN SIN; THEREFORE YOU CANNOT EFFECTIVELY SOUND THE TRUMPET OF MY WARNINGS AGAINST SIN.  Luke 7:31 “To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? 32   They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other: “‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry.’ “ HOW CAN AN UNCLEAN VESSEL CRY “HOLINESS?”  HOW CAN YOU JUDGE OTHERS WHEN YOU ARE LIVING AND DOING THE SAME THINGS?  WHERE IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD?

The Kingdom of God is ruled by A KING, who is God and is Holy and sinless. He chooses to dwell in us and make us in His image of holiness to show the world His holiness and love on a level that can be clearly seen and heard.  2 Corinthians 5:20  We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

He alone is King and He gives us His decrees to live by.  He gave us choices and He will not violate our right to choose – right or wrong, evil or good.  Our choices will be judged by the King of glory and His decree will be handed to us and the rewards or penalties cannot be voided. It is impossible to say, “I did not know or I did not hear.”  God’s voice is in His word and it is in the world through the things God has created and through the air waves that are crying out “Be ready; He is about to appear in judgment!”  Most importantly, His voice is in the children of God.  Are you sounding the warning trumpet clearly?  1 Corinthians 14:8  Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle?

The children of God bear a grave responsibility and there will be accountability. Ezekiel 33:7  “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel (FOR THE WORLD) so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.  8  When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.  9  But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself.  Ezekiel 33:13  If I tell the righteous man that he will surely live, but then he trusts in his righteousness and does evil, none of the righteous things he has done will be remembered; he will die for the evil he has done.  14  And if I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ but he then turns away from his sin and does what is just and right –  15  if he gives back what he took in pledge for a loan, returns what he has stolen, follows the decrees that give life, and does no evil, he will surely live; he will not die.  16  None of the sins he has committed will be remembered against him. He has done what is just and right; he will surely live.

Our Lord and King will sound the trumpet and He will come in the storms of His wrath but He will shield His own from the coming storms.  Zechariah 9:14 The  LORD will sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south,  15  and the LORD Almighty will shield them. They will destroy and overcome with sling-stones. They will drink and roar as with wine; they will be full like a bowl used for sprinkling the corners of the altar.  16  The LORD their God will save them on that day as the flock of his people. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.

TODAY THERE IS WORLDLINESS AMONG MY CHILDREN AND YOU IMAGINE A VAIN THING.  YOU THINK TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY GOODNESS.  I WILL NOT EXCUSE SIN!  I DIED FOR YOUR SINS AND MADE ATONEMENT FOR YOU.  COME AND BE CLEANSED AND PURIFIED AND I WILL SAVE YOU.  MY GOODNESS FLOWS FROM MY HOLINESS AND MY HOLY LOVE.  I CANNOT ALLOW DEFILEMENT IN MY KINGDOM.  1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast works through the whole batch of dough?  Christ died for your sins, would you crucify Him afresh?  Hebrews 6:11  We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure.  12  We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

DO NOT BE IMITATORS OF THE WORLD AND ITS CULTURE. REPENT! AND BE IMITATORS OF GOD AND HIS HOLINESS.  Hebrews 12:8  If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.  9  Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live!  10  Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness.  11  No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.  12  Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.  13  “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.  14  Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

THERE IS JUDGMENT ON SIN AND REWARDS FOR DOING AND KEEPING MY COMMANDS. YOU CANNOT EXCUSE YOUR SINS BECAUSE I HAVE PROVIDED FOR YOU. Psalm 18:29  With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.  30  As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

Psalm 18:20  The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.  21  For I have kept the ways of the LORD; I have not done evil by turning from my God.  22  All his laws are before me; I have not turned away from his decrees.  23  I have been blameless before him and have kept myself from sin.  24  The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

Psalm 18:25  To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless,  26  to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.  27  You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.

Psalm 58:11  Then men will say, “Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.”

Hebrews 11:6  And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

I SPEAK TO YOU MY CHILDREN BECAUSE OF MY GREAT LOVE FOR YOU.  I DO NOT WANT YOU TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE DESTROYER.  HE WILL HAVE NO MERCY UPON YOU, AND HIS FATE WILL BE YOUR FATE.  I HAVE ABUNDANCE OF LIFE TO GIVE YOU AND ALL OF MY KINGDOM’S BLESSINGS AND SPIRITUAL RICHES ARE YOURS.  COME AND RECEIVE MY LIFE WITHIN YOU.  DRINK THE WATER OF LIFE AND RIVERS OF LIVING WATER WILL FLOW FROM YOU.  John 7:38   Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”

Psalm 19:7  The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.  8  The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.  9  The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous.  10  They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.  11  By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.  12  Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults.  13  Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression.  14  May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
