March 29, 2006 – ASLEEP IN THE CAMP OF THE LORD!
The Lord’s watchman (the Holy Spirit) is crying out, “The enemy is attacking the camp of the Lord. Prepare yourselves to battle!” Last night, I was awakened by the Spirit of the Lord as He made me aware of a mighty onslaught of satan against my family and the family of God. Why would satan single out insignificant children of God? The answer is plain! Satan must powerfully reckon with those whom God has promised great things, and those who believe and have faith that God is going to bring those promises to pass. We are the light of this generation and when we recognize and act upon the call of God in our lives to work for His kingdom, it looses the power of God in this world. Dedication to prayer for God’s purposes is a mighty force against satan. When we lead someone to Christ or pray for someone’s release from bondage we have brought great victory in the camp of the Lord. Satan wants to quench the light within each of us and put out the fire of our calling to prevent us from winning victories for the Lord. Psalms 22:28 for dominion belongs to the LORD and he rules over the nations. 29 All the rich of the earth will feast and worship; all who go down to the dust will kneel before him – those who cannot keep themselves alive. 30 Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord. 31 They will proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn – for he has done it.
At first, I thought it was my imagination when the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me of satan’s renewed onslaught against my family and me. However, when I arose this morning, I was filled with the knowledge that satan’s declaration of war was truth and I felt empowered by the spirit within me! I began to pray and receive promises from God. I know that you need to be reminded of those promises, too. Isaiah 54:17 no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD. 2Corinthians 10:4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. No wonder satan wants us to “be asleep in the camp of the Lord.”
Every child of promise is going to be attacked. Satan will attack those asleep in the camp last of all, lest he awaken them. If you are spiritually asleep, do not rise up from your sleep and open the door to satan by sinning against your God, but awaken your spirit to walk with God. Psalms 13:3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death; 4 my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall. 5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. 6 I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.
Our God is faithful and He will not allow children of faith and trust in Him to be defeated as long as they lay claim to His promises. The Spirit of the Lord is saying to us, “Awaken my children to the peril that is around you. 1Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. None of these machinations (crafty schemes) and workings of satan are hidden from my eyes.” In the camp of the Lord there shall be great victory! Isaiah 14:24 The LORD Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.
From the Lord:
SATAN HAS DECEIVED HIMSELF! HE IS NOT THE VICTOR, HE IS THE DEFEATED ONE! I WILL CAUSE MY CHILDREN TO RISE UP AND THEIR ANGER AT SIN SHALL NOT BE ABATED. I WILL TURN HIS EVIL INTO GOOD AND BRING VICTORY TO MY CHILDREN. DID I NOT DECLARE: Isaiah 14:9 The grave below is all astir to meet you (SATAN) at your coming; it rouses the spirits of the departed to greet you – all those who were leaders in the world; it makes them rise from their thrones – all those who were kings over the nations. 10 They will all respond, they will say to you, “You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us.” 11 All your pomp has been brought down to the grave, along with the noise of your harps; maggots are spread out beneath you and worms cover you. 12 How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! 13 You said in your heart, “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. 14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” 15 But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit.
DO NOT BE SMUG OR PRIDEFUL, MY CHILDREN, BECAUSE IT IS BY MY GRACE AND POWER THAT YOU STAND. THE VICTORY IS TO HIM WHO WALKS UPRIGHTLY BEFORE ME AND TO HIM THAT OVERCOMES SATAN AND HIS WORKS WITHIN YOUR SOUL, IN YOUR FAMILY, AND IN THE WORLD AROUND YOU. YOU CANNOT SIT OUT THIS WAR AGAINST YOUR SOUL AND THE SOULS AROUND YOU. YOU ARE CALLED AS MY SOLDIERS IN THIS WAR PERPETRATED AGAINST THE CHILDREN OF GOD. YOU HAVE RESPONSIBILITIES TO PRAY AND INTERCEDE FOR MY KINGDOM. REMEMBER AT ALL TIMES THAT I STAND BESIDE YOU. 2Timothy 4:17 But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. 2 Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, O Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, O captive Daughter of Zion.
