March 21, 2006 – OFF WITH THE OLD AND “ON WITH THE NEW!
BEHOLD THE HAND OF THE LORD IS IN YOUR MIDST AND I AM POURING FORTH OF MY SPIRIT TO HIM WHO IS THIRSTY AND NEW LIFE TO HIM THAT IS “DRIED UP.” Proverbs 8:35 For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD. 36 But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death.
THERE IS NOTHING IN YOUR MEMORY LIKENED TO THE PRESENT HOUR. I THE LORD AM MIGHTY IN YOUR MIDST AND MY SPIRIT IS REACHING OUT TO YOU; BEGIN AGAIN IN MY MIGHT AND POWER. I WILL MAKE YOU ANEW AND PUT MY ORDAINED WILL WITHIN YOU. Philippians 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS “SEEK ME WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART AND CRY OUT TO BE FILLED WITH MY RIGHTEOUSNESS AND MY SPIRIT.” I AM THE SOURCE OF YOUR LIFE AND IT IS TIME TO RENEW YOU IN MY LOVE, POWER, AND SOUNDNESS OF MIND. 1Timothy 1:12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service. THE TRUMPET IS SOUNDING AND I AM CALLING YOU TO FULFILL MY WILL IN YOUR LIFE. THE TIME IS SHORT, DO NOT LEAVE MY WORK UNDONE!
I WOULD NOT CALL YOU TO DEEPER DEPTHS AND HIGHER HEIGHTS IN ME WITHOUT EQUIPPING YOU WITH MY SPIRITUAL GIFTS. YOU, HOWEVER, MUST MAKE ROOM IN YOUR HEART AND LIFE FOR A DEEPER COMMITMENT TO ME. YOU FELT IN YOUR HEART THAT SOMETHING “NEW AND DIFFERENT” WAS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE IN YOUR LIFE, BUT YOU DID NOT SEEK ME. YOU HAVE BEEN RESTLESS IN YOUR SPIRIT, BUT YOU DID NOT CALL OUT MY NAME. YOU WILL NEVER KNOW THE FULLNESS OF GOD UNLESS YOU SEEK ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART. WHEN I AM “FIRST” AND YOU HAVE “NO OTHER GODS” BEFORE ME, THEN YOU WILL KNOW WHY I CHOSE YOU AND THE PURPOSE FOR YOUR BEING. Deuteronomy 32:46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you – they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
MY CHILDREN, I HAVE A PURPOSE FOR EVERY ONE OF YOU. YOU ARE CALLED TO BE A LIGHT IN THE UTTER DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD. YOU ARE TO OVERCOME THE EVIL BY YOUR GOODNESS. I WANT TO FILL YOUR HEART WITH LOVE FOR THE LOST AND THE NEEDY. John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’
HAVE I NOT CALLED YOU TO BE GREATER THAN YOURSELVES? I HAVE CREATED YOU TO BE IN MY IMAGE. John 5:20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these. JOHN 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
I HAVE GIVEN YOU RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS WORLD; WOULD I NOT ALSO MAKE YOU ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR WORK IN MY KINGDOM? Revelations 20:12 And I saw the dead, great, and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.
WHAT CAN YOU GIVE TO ME? WHAT GLORY DO YOU BRING TO MY NAME AND TO MY KINGDOM? IT IS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS THAT GLORIFIES MY NAME. YOU SHOW YOUR LOVE BY KEEPING MY COMMANDMENTS AND YOUR OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN ANY SACRIFICE YOU OFFER. YOUR TOTAL DEDICATION AND COMMITMENT TO ME PRODUCE WORKS THAT GLORIFY MY NAME. I SEEK FRUIT ON THE BRANCHES OF YOUR LIFE. JOHN 15:8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. ASK OF ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU ALL YOU NEED TO OVERCOME THE WORLD AND GLORIFY MY NAME. REMEMBER, CHRIST IN YOU IS THE HOPE OF GLORY.
