Stop! Think!

My children, are you contributing to the corruption all around you?  You may not be paying attention, but I am looking, watching, and keeping records of your words and actions.  Yes, you are living in a time when SIN is the way of life and RIGHTEOUSNESS is overlooked by the multitudes. Has SIN become a part of your life?  Only a few years ago SIN was the exception to the rule now there are no rules, “do whatever you feel like, follow the world!  Morality is now the exception to the rule of life.”  Things have not changed with Me, I am the same: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  My words of truth and admonition are the same and are forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

You do not have to go far to discover the absolute truth about yourself! All you have to do is take inventory of the thoughts of your heart! “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). “Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?” (1 Corinthians 5:6). I read the thoughts and intents of your heart continually.

You are playing the most dangerous game you can play–Russian Roulette with your soul.  You think you have time to toy with sin and be ready for My return.  Everything you do and say is recorded in My book of life.  To those who are “lukewarm” the scripture says: “So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth” (Revelation 3:16).  The Ten Commandments and My Holy Spirit spell out sin.  The Holy Spirit convicts of sin and judgment to come. Just because this generation ignores my commandments and the voice of My Holy Spirit, doesn’t mean that your SIN will not be judged. “Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar” (Romans 3:4).

Many of you will receive even greater judgment because you are a “leader” instead of a follower and you cause the weak to feel, “If it is okay for you, and you claim Christianity, then it is okay for me!!” It is because I love you that I speak!  I expect My children to represent my code of conduct and love others enough to be a good example of righteousness. I have called you “out of the world”.  Yes, you have the approval of the world and the vast majorities if you are one of them.  Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:17-18).

The time is upon you when the world is ripe for judgment. “Pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking diligently lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears. For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore.  For they could not endure what was commanded: ‘And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or thrust through with an arrow.’ And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, ‘I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.’  But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.  ~The Unshaken Kingdom~ See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven” (Hebrews 12:14-25).

My prayer: Lord, please forgive my sins, and give me a new heart and a desire to be faithful and follow You all the way.  Help me now, this day, to come out of the world and its sins and be a faithful follower of You, dear God.  I will study and seek Your face continually.  Help me now to become the person You have called and designed me to be.  May I love You with my whole heart.  Cleanse and purify me for now and forever.  I vow to follow You with all my heart.   Amen.
