BE SURE YOU ARE TUNED IN TO GOD’S MESSAGE!

Things all around us are becoming major problems and we understand very little of what is going on or how to solve the world-wide dilemma. However, everything begins to make sense when we tune into the message of the spirit of God. We do this by seeking God’s presence, studying His word, and prayer that seeks His perfect will for our lives. God will answer our prayer for wisdom and understanding of the hour in which we live.  Even among unbelievers you often hear them say it is the end times. They seem to understand that the wrath of God is about to fall. “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial on the earth” (Revelation 3:10).

We have a responsibility to pray unceasingly for the souls of men and to be prepared for His coming. “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:4-11).

When we see the approaching storm we should prepare ourselves by being obedient to Christ and the exhortations of His Holy Spirit. “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8). When we totally give our life to Christ we are under His ruler ship and the prince of darkness has only God-approved testing power over us. We are under God’s covenant and when we keep the terms of His covenant, He has promised to work evil for our good.  “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28). Our part is to “love Him with all our heart, soul, and spirit and to seek His purpose for our life and steadfastly live, move, and have our being in Him.” We should not choose our own role in this life, but we must allow God to use us for His purposes and as He wills.  Our goal should be to do everything for His glory and bear the fruit of His presence within us. “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:4-5).

From Christ we receive all that is needed for the life He has called us to live.  Because of His indwelling Spirit and life within us we will become holy as He is holy. If we belong to Christ, we are under His divine care, protection, blessing, deliverance, wisdom, and teaching.

I have lived all of my adolescent and adult life as a child of God. I began to pray and seek God as a child. When I was a teenager I dedicated my life fully to Christ.  I have sought God for all that pertains to my life. Christ entered into all of my important business dealings and gave me direction many times. God even told me to invest in certain things that I never would have considered on my own. In one case, He told me to invest in land for only three years and that I must be completely out at the end of that time.  A crash came in three years and a few months. Thanks to God I escaped unharmed and God brought back to me seven times my investment. Believe me, He is the best life and business partner you can have.  Because I chose God as the chief executive officer of my life He has made my life blessed, full, and running over. I have experienced privileges I would never have experienced on my own. I know God is the source of all goodness and true power in life and eternity. Christ wants us to have His highest and best for our lives but it can only come by being fully united with Him as our Lord.

I did not ask to write inspired books or prophetic writings, but He gave me this privileged experience after I reached eighty years of age.  I had taken dictation from Him many times earlier but I never dreamed God wanted to use them in book form.  The second volume of inspired writings is now in the hands of the publisher. Our dearest Lord always has a purpose for the things He does in our lives. He does not consider ability, age, or health because His power overcomes all the barriers to His perfect will. “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may have a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:9-10).

I have been through many trials and many times, days, and seasons with Christ. He has never forsaken me.  He chooses the timing of all things, but He never is late or forgets His promises. However, in the last six months I have been asked by God to “come up higher” (continually seek His face and will in all things)! He told me my life is to be no longer about me and my desires, but “all about Him and His work!”

I know from the urgency of the Spirit that this is a new hour and a very important season.  We are seeing God set the stage for Christ’s coming. Judgment is beginning at the house of the Lord and with each of us individually.  We are being warned to be “prepared” for Christ’s appearing for the Body of Christ. This is the time to be gravely serious about keeping our relationship with Christ spotless. The Holy Spirit is preparing God’s children to lift up Christ and when we lift Him up “He will draw all men unto Himself.”  This will be a glorious hour of restoration, revival, and resurrection power.

Christ is coming as a “thief in the night!”  We do not know the day or the hour, but there is urgency in the Spirit for us to get close to God and let nothing come in between. We must live our lives to please Him—not ourselves. It is a case of “ready or not, here I come!”

My prayer:

Divine Lord and Father God, I feel the urgency of the hour.  I want to please You and be ready to be “caught up in the air to ever be with You.”  I will put You first in my life.  Every morning and night I will come to You in prayer. I believe You will tell me how to prepare and be ready. I will acknowledge You in all my ways so You can direct my path. Daily I will read and study Your word.  Send Your Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth. I want to enlist in Your kingdom work.  Instruct me and I will study the Bible as I would study a road map for escape. I will seek to learn more about You. I know Your word is true and I stand upon Your promise to save me from the wrath to come.  Prepare my heart and spirit to look for Your “appearing” and to remain in tune to Your wisdom and understanding. “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). AMEN.
